Senior Data Scientist

Location: Multiple Cities, South America
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Data Scientist to help us build the best-in-class IOT water monitoring and control technology.  Let´s work together!

Responsibilities
  • Define and manage design and deployment strategy for data-based intelligent hardware 
  • Build models, simulation, scalable and automated analytical systems
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify new opportunities for action
  • Generate and manage code base in accordance with established company guidelines
  • Partner with Integration Engineers to define robust data analytics infrastructure
  • Design new tools and processes to enable better data modeling, analysis, and experimentation
  • Drive improvements to the product design and architecture, leading to increased customer satisfaction
 Qualifications
  • Background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent technical field, with MS degree or higher and 3+ years of machine learning experience with connected hardware products
  • Solid knowledge of telemetry-based machine learning and pattern recognition techniques (classifications, regressions, anomaly detection, clustering, recommenders).
  • Working experience in solving real world machine learning problems
  • Ability to formulate business requirements into machine learning problems, prototype statistical analysis and modeling algorithms and apply these algorithms for data driven solutions to problems in new domains
  • Software development skills in one or more high level languages (Python/R/Java/Scala)
  • Self-directed, results-oriented team-player that has the drive to make a difference in a high-energy startup culture
