We are looking for a Full-stack web developer to help us build and application using NextJS 13 & React and communicating with a Django backend via GraphQL and REST. The product is styled via Tailwind following an internal design system. 

Team
The team is a 7-person, cross-functional group consisting of members of our product, engineering, design, and commercial departments. We currently follow a Kanban style approach with a daily standup and weekly sync. 

Candidate
The candidate we are looking for would work closely with our Product Manager, Technical Lead, and Product Designer to build features and functionality in our NextJS and React application(s). 

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience: 

• 8+ years building web front-ends using technologies like React / TypeScript / Next.js
• Mastery of front-end development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as design tools like Figma
• Experience working with design systems - you’ve authored and maintained UI components that are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust
• Experience with accessibility guidelines such as WCAG
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Webpack / Yarn / Sass etc
• Experience working with product designers, product managers, and engineers to create delightful user-facing experiences
• Some experience with Python or another backend programming language - you should be comfortable understanding a back-end code base and making changes
• Understands the value of automated tests and when to use what kind of test
• Understands the value of robust documentation for reusable design system components
